Anabela Barros Correia (b. Pernes, Santarém, Portugal, 1980) has a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Languages and Literatures (2003), completed the graduate course Specialization Course for Editorial Technicals (2005) and a Master’s Degree in Romance Studies, specialization area in Portuguese Literature (2009), by the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. She has presented the master’s dissertation The Deforming Mirror – Images of the Grotesque in Abel Botelho’s Fatal Dilema (Fatal Dilemma) (2008), defended and approved in May of 2009 with unanimous rating of Very Good. She has already worked as reviser and editorial assistant, having contributed for the revision of the Latin – Portuguese Dictionary (3rd edition), of Porto Editora, and collaborated as lexicographer of scholastic dictionaries of the Portuguese language at Texto Editores. She collaborates in the project Bibliography of the Portuguese Short Story (1838 – 1900), by CLEPUL. She attends the PhD in Textual Criticism, at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, and she is developing a work towards the creative process of the writer Abel Botelho.
